LESSONS: How to Fix your Vapor Straw

Vapor straw tips are thin, so if you’re using a larger torch, you might seal the end up over time. If this happens, you can fix it using the same torch that created the seal. While rotating the straw in your hand, place the straw tip on the edge of the inner blue flame until it glows. At the same time, blow into the straw to create a bubble. Once you’ve created a bubble, keep blowing to make the bubble pop. Then flame polish the end by waving it back and forth in the yellow part of the flame.
